Lying low for a White Wagtail (Motacilla alba)

This one is from the archives. I had just got my new camera and was keen to test it out on the sidelines of our office offsite at Phansad Wildlife Sanctuary.

White Wagtails are small passerine insectivorous birds. For a small bird they have a large migratory range. They have adapted well to urbanization and are quite comfortable foraging on paved roads and building nests on crevices and man-made structures.
