Close up of a Red-naped Ibis (Pseudibis papillosa)

The last time I had clicked a Red-naped Ibis (also called the Indian Black Ibis or just the Black Ibis), it was perched on top of a tall tree. But this time around managed to get a real close up shot.Its quite a big and confident bird and it held its ground even though I went quite close.

These are primarily found in the Indian Subcontinent especially in the state of Haryana. They are winter migrants to Karnataka.
