Anna’s Hummingbird – Female (Calypte anna)

This was not quite the shot that I had been envisaging but quite happy to have clicked a hummingbird in flight. Given that they are native to North America, a land far away from the shores of India, a traveller from India, doesn’t quite get the luxury to frame one’s shot.
So this is the best that I could do under the blazing Texas sun. A special thanks to my childhood friend Bharat for driving me around so that I could do some birding.
