Brahminy Starling (Sturnia pagodarum)   2 comments

Brahminy Starling

It’s also called Brahminy Myna. They get their name because of their thin elongated crest, which is reminiscent of a typical Hindu Brahmin’s hairstyle.
This particular bird was not too happy about my presence under the same tree, on a hot day. But I guess both of us didn’t have much of an alternative.
